DOVER Accident Update — Delaware State Police have identified 27-year-old Aubrie Barnes of Dover as the victim of a fatal single-vehicle rollover crash that occurred Sunday afternoon on Bay Road in Dover. The collision remains under investigation as authorities continue working to determine the circumstances surrounding the crash.
According to Delaware State Police, the crash happened at approximately 3:10 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, near Exit 93 on Bay Road. Investigators said Barnes was driving a Lexus GX when the vehicle entered the right merge lane of Bay Road after traveling through Exit 93.

No other vehicles were involved in the collision. The crash caused Bay Road to be closed for approximately four hours while Delaware State Police investigated the scene, collected evidence, and removed the damaged vehicle.
