Stefanie Rock Obituary, WATER MILL, N.Y. — Stefanie Rock, a 29-year-old associate broker with JLL (Jones Lang LaSalle), has died following a vehicle collision while jogging in Water Mill, New York. Her passing has left family, friends, colleagues, clients, and members of New York’s commercial real estate community mourning the loss of a promising young professional.

According to the Southampton Town Police Department, the accident occurred Friday morning on Deerfield Road, north of Head of Pond Road, in Water Mill. Police said Rock was jogging northbound on Deerfield Road when she was struck by a southbound Toyota.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene, but Rock was pronounced dead following the collision. Authorities said the driver remained at the scene, cooperated with investigators, and was transported to Southampton Hospital for evaluation before being released.

The Southampton Town Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash. Officials have not released additional details regarding the incident.

Beyond the tragedy of her passing, Rock is being remembered for her dedication, professionalism, and positive influence throughout her career and personal life. Before joining JLL, Rock worked at Axiom, a legal services provider, for three years and later spent 18 months with consulting company RGP. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human and Organizational Development.
