Damon Saponari Obituary, ROCHESTER, Minn. — Damon Saponari, 26, of Rochester, Minnesota, has died following injuries sustained in a motorcycle collision with an SUV near the Highway 63 ramp Tuesday morning.
The fatal crash occurred at the intersection of 40th Street Southeast and Woodlake Drive in Rochester, where emergency crews responded after receiving a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV. The Rochester Police Department said officers were dispatched to the scene at approximately 11:05 a.m. Tuesday.
When first responders arrived, they found the motorcycle rider critically injured as a result of the crash. Despite emergency response efforts, Saponari died from injuries sustained in the collision.
Authorities identified Saponari as the motorcyclist involved in the crash. Police confirmed that the driver of the SUV was not injured in the incident.
