Destiney Bobo Obituary, ANNISTON, Ala. — Destiney M. Bobo, 40, of Anniston, Alabama, has died following a fatal pedestrian crash on Alabama Highway 202 early Tuesday morning. Bobo was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a pickup truck while walking on the roadway, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA).
The fatal incident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m. Tuesday on Alabama Highway 202, less than one mile west of the Anniston city limits. According to Alabama State Troopers, Bobo was in the roadway when she was struck by a Ram 1500 pickup truck driven by 39-year-old Kerry P. McIntosh of Anniston.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene following the collision, but Bobo suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead. Authorities have not released additional details about why she was in the roadway or the circumstances leading up to the crash.
